Exhaust shop woes....

Ok, i got my headers and ypipe nice and installed...engine looks real nice now that i can see the thing . anyway i have a question...all of the shops i have gone to have told me that there just isnt enough room for them to do three inch (single!) under my car...what is the big issue? it seems to me that if people can fit 4" pipe under there that an exhaust shop would be able to make a pipe for me that is 3" long...so what is holding them back? any ideas? also...i ordered a power steering ac delete bracket from gm...will it work with my headers?

They're either lazy or too stupid to put a 3 inch in... I had mine done and the guy said he spent quite a bit of time on getting the pipe to go over the rear axle but he did manage to get it done. I'll put my car up on a lift, take a picture, and send it to you so you can show the exhaust shop guys it can be done lol

Hehe cool... I thought about painting in the black for the headlight pockets but never got around to it. Soon as I get the money up for materials, I'll be stripping the car down and painting it black with maybe some dark silver heritage style stripes. Painted it white the first time cause it was cheap and I didn't like the other colors the paint place had

Ok, basically, if your exhaust shop can put a single 3", they are absolutely stupid brain dead morons. 3" pipe came stock on the later 305 G92's and the 350, so there is plenty of room, no problems at all. Just find another shop.
