header and y pipe?

header and y pipe?

i have a 2 1/2" flowmaster cat back if i put headers on will the y pipe hook right up? what size is the opening on the headers? and the y pipe?im gonna buy hooker headers and y pipe form summit no AIR shorties.

Really? I didn't know Hooker offered such a thing. The no-A.I.R. shorties (p/n 2460) don't have a y-pipe made for them (unless something new has just been offered).

Answering your original question: No, it won't fit because there has to be a cat between the y-pipe and I-pipe. If your cat-back is 2-1/2", your cat isn't the right size to fit the Hooker y-pipe (which is only available with 2055 headers, w/A.I.R. and O2 sensor port; unless something new is being offered that I haven't heard about). Some alteration/adaptation will be required.

well the cat is still here its just gutted and summit or jegs i forget told me that i can buy hooker headers and y pipe for like 210.00 i hope thats true i belive someone else on this site told that i could so i believe that correct.so will it connect to my cat? i have a single cat car not duals.

Hedman $210 for no-A.I.R. headers & y-pipe, yes. Hooker, no.

maybe your right maybe its hedman dont know but whatever they are the price is right.
