4"
enough.....
i was just curious if there is anyone else out there with the same setup or similar.
there's definately alot of air going through with the 4" cai, miniram and 4" exhaust.

I'd be interested to. I already have the exhuast and my motor is in the works but I think I'm going with the HSR. If you have any q's about the exhuast itself, give me a holla.

i have a friend with a 84z2b with a 350sbc. he ran some lt headers an custom fabbed up a 4" setup, the only problem wit his is that he has about 4" of ground clerance and kees smashing it up.
really?
i was able to get alot of ground clearance with my 4" setup.....however putting a tubular k-member allowed me to angle things a little better which helped with that.
a friend of mine running the same setup with the stock k-member has almost 2" less than myself.
sure is a large pipe to try and hide on a car that clearly wasn't designed for that.

see we have more problem with the long tube header clearance issues............the pipe itself was pretty easy to tuck up in there. however, we did have to fabricate some of the pieces to make room.

I've got 4" Mufflex catback, their y-pipe, and supercomp lt's. The ground clearance is fair, the exhaust weighs a ton, and the sound is perfect. (the Flowmaster version) The main clearance issue is the ypipe going under the tranny crossmember.

Maybe you could fab your own with two "humps" in it. I've heard people talking about it in the past, but I have never seen any pictures.

Please post a picture in this thread if you ever get around to it. Do you have any pictures of your current 4" install?

my friend has long tubes too. he has a problem like u said, when u bring it over to the passangers side at the tranny cross member, he said something like the spohn tq arm has a differnet crossemeber that they supply they you with. so he doesn't have any clerance problems. have you ever heard of something like this?
