hello i have an 83 camaro. Before i bought the car someone put in a 305. Right now there is no exhaust at all... only old manifolds. i dont know what car the motor came from but i know its a 305. the exhaust manifolds wouldnt meet up with a camaro cross-over so i was thinking of finding an 83 camaro with a 305 and taking the manifolds...now i think it would be cheeper to just buy some headers that come with a cross-over..what headers do i buy....since i dont know what motor is in the car..... headers for an 83 305 camaro right???

All thirdgen V8 exhaust manifolds have the same bolt pattern and are interchangable for each other.

As far as headers, do a search on this board and you'll find lots of opinions.

yeah i see everyone has a different opinion... the most debate i can find is the 1-1/2" or 1-5/8" primaries....

I don't know about cheaper, but better is almost a certainty (even with the Pacesetters from JC Whitney you were asking about).

Soon I'll have a stock system from heads to rear bumper available. See sig why. Shipping could be a challenge, but if you paid it, the system is yours (probably about $100 due to large pieces).
