Well the winters coming up, and as most of you have probably noticed, i have been asking tons of useless questions lately, such as should i get headers or gears, blah blah. Well all of these mods will be done hopefully towards the end of the year...at least the headers (*** i hope so). Anyway, i was running some thoughts thro my head sitting here in class and was thinking of this. Read the part in my sig about my exhaust. What i wanna do is have the two outside pipes run off the headers (since i have no muffler) and have the two inside pipes go as far back as they can go...i think if this would work it would not only look cool as hell from underneath, but it would sound mean as all hell...any thoughts? feel free to criticize me for being a retard but like i said, just killing time during class....

1991 Camaro RS (auto)

PERFORMANCE
-Custom quad exhaust (basically no muffler, and the two outside pipes run straight back and the two inside pipes connect at about half way)
-Edelbrock (well the bottom part at least) 14x3 open air element w/ 5" high K&N filter
-K&N X-stream lid

APPEARANCE
-TTops
-4" Cowl induction hood (functional obviously)

I once saw a 57 chevy with 8 exhaust pipes(you heard me), so I think anything is possible now.

You know, i washed my car today so i decided to take a look underneath...and looking at it..i dont believe you can run the driver side pipe straight back.....which shoots my idea down the crapper.....but hey, it was still a cool thought tho.....unless i'm just missing something cause we all know i'm an idiot

Can I ask you one question? What is the point of quad exhaust if your headers only come out in two places? Wouldn't it just be heavier and sound different?

I think it'd look like rice. I've seen riceburners with three or four separate exhaust tips and it looks like crap.

Dude, my car looks far from f'in rice. Two nice pipes on each side and its sounds mean as hell. I could understand how it could look rice tho.
