hey, ive had my catco for like 3 months and its plugged, sweet deal, anyway is this normal for these cats, i mean when my car started backfiring through the carb the exhaust was the last thing i checked since its the newest thing on the car. anyway, do all of these cats suck this bad or did i just get a lemon? and also how good are they on warranty? will i get some reimbursement to get that thing rewelded back on (grrr)?

 

CATCO catalytic converters are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This catalytic converter has been designed and manufactured, and is warranted to meet federal EPA emission requirements for 25,000 miles. The stainless steel body and nipples alone are warranted for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. At the conclusion of the 5 year/50,000 mile or 25,000 mile period, whichever is applicable, all liability under this limited warranty shall terminate.
