Hi-Flow Cat

I'm looking to upgrad the exhaust on my Z, and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? Any help would be appreciated.

My setup was the best performance combination of the exhausts that I have tried. I have Random Technology exhaust with CarSound cat. I have tested Flowmaster(they sound good but performance is bad). I have not tried the Hooker exhaust, but I have heard a lot of good things about it. Others to consider are Dynomax and Magnaflow. These are both good flowing exhausts. The Flowmaster is a chambered exhaust and any chamber exhaust will not be high performance mufflers.

I recomend the Random Tech cats if you still have emissions. They are costly but worth it. To my knowledge, they are the only (or one of the few) aftermarket coverters that are CARB approved so they must actually do a good job of cleaning your emissions. Not to mention, they flow really well. I don't remember when, but a couple years ago one of my magazines compared flow rates of a bunch of them and Random Tech not only flowed the best but it did the best on emissions as well. In the conclusion they said that it only robbed 3-5 horsepower from the test engine.

Both are Hi Flow and Emission Legal. So how much do you want to spend???

Thanks everyone for their input, but I found a brand new Catco 3" hi-flow cat on EBay for $34.95, plus shipping. I figure if it sucks, at least it didn't cost me too much.
