edelbrock tes system and brake lines

i put an edelbrock tubular exhaust system on my 85 iroc-z and the brake lines are in direct contact with the headers. i know that i need to have them professionally moved, but i also need to drive my car to the local mechanic. is it safe or a good idea to drive my car about a mile with the brake lines touching the headers?

Only a mile, hmmm I would "think" it would be ok. Then again, if it were me, I'd make sure it was a quick mile with no stop lights

TTT for you, maybe someone can give you a definited answer.
