anyone have any pics of their jet-hot coated headers???
i am trying to decide which color i want my headers coated...its between teh sterling and the grey "cast iron" color.
the sterling looks liek polished aluminum i think, but its kinda shiny and i think it looks cheap.
i think i want to go with the cast iron/grey color, but i havent seen any pics of it...just the sterling.
if anyone has any pics of either color, if you can post them, it would be great.

This is a pic of mine - they are the Edelbrock TES ones, and were JHC before I got them, so I dunno what the color is called, but it does appear kinda like a polished aluminum, so I assume it is the Sterling one that you talk about.

i got a quote from jet-hot for $179 in their sterling finish, which is the polished aluminum look.

I paid $276 to get my Edelbrock headers and y-pipe coated with the sterling coating and sent back to me. You do not have to get the y-pipe coated, but it would be a wise idea, especially if you do any type of showing of the car because the y-pipe is very noticable on the passenger side of the car behind the front wheel. Also, you don't want the y-pipe to look like trash, when the rest of your setup looks so good.
I don't have any pics of them in my car, unfortunately, right now. I will tell you that when they come back, they look like they are chrome. I had many people think they were chromed at first. After they have been on the car for a while (one month) that chrome look starts to fade a bit. Mine are now more of a silver color, but not so shiny. I personally think they look really good and they don't develop those hot spots like chromed headers tend to do.
