Hooker Cat-back(couple of questions)
Hooker Cat-back(couple of questions)
#1. Do you have to get it with the dual tips on both sides? I like the OEM look. Or at least just 1 tip on both sides.
#2. Which one should I get? Look in sig. for specs.
#3. How is sound inside the car? I like it where i can hear the exhaust in the car. Also, how is the sound outside of the car?
#4. What parts do i need to buy besides the cat-back?

#1 The quad-tips are just tips, they can come off.
#2 Couldnt tell ya.
#3 When I'm cruising I can hear it but its not loud ...its "noticable". When I'm on the highway in O/D or something its a lot less noticable. After about 2300RPM it starts getting good sounding.
#4 My catback came with everything (clamps, nuts, bolts...) you need. All you'll need is some ramps or jacks, maybe some penetrating oil to get your old rusted exhaust off, a hack-saw to cut off the over-the-axle pipe, some wrenches and thats about it.
At first I was disappointed by the sound of my catback but after a few weeks it got louder/better sounding.
