Get full exhaust or new suspension????
I have about $800 to spend on it, and I can't decide what to buy. My engine is a 383 stroker and the other mods are in my sig. I am leaning towards 1 3/4" LT hooker headers, they are $600 to my door from jet-hot, and taking off my cats, I think this would give me the most power gain since I am running stock exhaust manifolds and stock cats, which I'm sure are really robbing the power potential of my 383. I also want to rig up a new exhaust because I HATE the way mine sounds. Or I could get some sub-frame connectors, new shocks struts and springs and have some $$$ left over. What would you do?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for the reply's
I don't have that big of a traction problem, the stock suspension hooks up pretty good with the roads around my area if I feather the throttle. I was thinking of the headers and exhaust because I like to race cars from a roll and I need some more power to keep with the modded LS1's, I don't have any problems with the stock ls1's from a roll at all. What kind of rear wheel numbers I would get with headers and no cats on my set-up?
Thanks again,

I would get the exhast.. well unless you have t-tops.. then I would... uhh.. lol I still got the exhaust on my car when I had that kinda $. Gains? I'm not a true beliver in big # changes from some pipes.. unless your car has problems with old exhast and isnt breathing like she should.. then maybe you get whats avertised.. but its more of freeing up HP and not gaining HP. Oh and another reason to get the exhaust... you will fall in love with the sound!
alot of times I wont even turn on the radio.. I will just roll down the windows and listen to the beautifull rumble.

i say suspension. if something is worn out it might wreck your ride if you neglect it.
