dynomax dual cat back

I just figured out that the dynomax intermediate pipe is 2.5", compared to the 2.75 OE imtermediate pipe on the N10 factory setup??

why would dynomax go smaller that OE? doesn't make sense????

thx
Larry

ask them for a stock replacement system. tell them what you have. Someone just said they got a 2.75" system from them unless he can't measure and it was really 2.5". As for their catbacks, the 2.5" is the only system they offer. They still have all the pieces to put together their old 3" catback system if you get all the part numbers together. I have the numbers for the 3" pipe in my sig.

my car is the same as yours, 89 WS6, except you have headers. My N10 dual cats are staying stock with OE manifolds. So I need the intermediate pipe that connects to the stock cats.

Is that what you have?
I definately want a quiet 3" cat back, and I though the dynomax was the ticket.... well until I found out it's 2.5" and stock was larger.
