If it's $400, I'd say what a waste.

well, it goes for 450 on the site i found it on and i was guaranteed i could get it for a much cheaper price than that. so ill hav eto see. i requested my "dealer" get prices on the borla kit and also the a flowmaster kit.

sorry mark, i headr the hooker kit and just didn't like it. sounded too tinny at idle. its a nice and well put together kit and very cheap for what it is but just didnt fit my sound desires.

yeah i understand , idle isn't the best, but on a stock 3rd gen motor it won't be, can't wait till i get the new heads on , with my lopey cam, then we'll see what you think of a weak idle. course that will be with duals too.

the Banks kit is like under $300 or right at that price!..The few I have heard in the past were awesome sounding and the tips were very nice as well.Personally, i think this is probably the best deal to go with...good luck with your whatever you choose.

they list it for 495.. i found another site for 425 and i was told by the dealer i go through that he could definately beat their prices and most of his prices have been substantially less than the prices found on that site... so im hoping for like 380 or so. if so, ill do it. if it stays in the 400s then im going with a flowmaster american thunder or force II 3".

I think you're nuts, why pay 2x the price for the same amount of performance???

thats the same/similiar theoretical performance. granted the chances of dyno proven gains being substantially different is low but still, noone has the proven dyno numbers to say...

on that note, im more than likely going with the flowmaster which is about the same price as the hooker. right around 220. i dont like the quad tips of the hooker and really dont want dual 3 inch tips out the back again like that ATR has. i want something like the flowmaster with one little dump on the left side.
