I saw a feature segment that was done on the Magnaflow company(parent company-Car Sound Exhaust...). It was on HotRodTV, I think. Their mufflers look pretty cool. I especially like the fact that the mufflers are a straight through design. They use some kind of metal mesh(I think stainless steel), instead of fiberglass for sound absorption, which makes me think they should be pretty durable. The mufflers are stainless steel which means $$$; but, I think they also make some that are aluminized steel(those are probably more affordable).

I once had a Carsound cat put on, and I did notice an improvement in sound(FlowMaster 80 muffler) over the stock cat.
