I was wonderin if this is possible!!!!
Alrite this would be my ideal setup. Ok i have a 90 firebird GTA with a 6 speed and the 5.7 tpi. What i would love to have is the hooker 2210's ceramic coated with a y pipe with cats but i would have electronic cutouts before the cats. So i was wonderin first if the 2210's will fit with a t56 then if someone makes a y pipe with cats for the 2210's. Also i would like to know of any other special clearancing that yall know of with the 2210's and a t56. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Well, I remember one person trying to install the 2210s with t 56 and I believe that it didnt fit right. I think that it was hiting a spot on the tranny flange. I am not sure but I think he was going to trim it to make it fit but never heard anything else. I do like these headers though. Also, there is only one company that makes a y pipe for thes and it runs along the driveshaft tunnel and doesnt have a cat so if you want a cat you will have to find some custom way to fab that up also.

Nobody makes a y-pipe with cats. The only available y-pipe is the Mufflex y-pipe ...

Tim, I know this is a bit of topic, but I noticed you have the alston sfc's. Are they the bolt in ones just welded in or are they actually a weld in version. I plan on ordering a set this weekend and had been planing on getting the bolt in ones and having them welded in, but just wanted to make sure that there wasnt a weld in version like that. How do you like them?
Thank

I bought the bolt-on ones and had them welded in. The bolt-on ones have more area for welding so that's why I got those.
