Hedman Headers and Plug Wires

I have some Hedman headers on the way and I wanted to know if I will have any problems with my spark plugs or wires. I have Bosch Platimum plugs, Taylor 8.0 wires and stock heads. I do have a heat protective boot on each wire. Thanks

Are those the Spiro-Pros or some other Taylor wires? The Spiro-Pros are good to 600 degrees. Two of my wires are a bare .2 inches from the header tubes and have yet to burn. And that's without any type of protective sleeves. Since you have some, I'd say you should be okay as long as the wire isn't directly touching anything (and they shouldn't anyway). Taylor makes good wire!

I have Hedman headers on my 84. All of the plug boots clear the headers, except for 2, which are straight boots. The rest are 90 degree boots. The straight boots have yet to burn, but then, I have parked the car until I fix a few things.
