92 350 TPI

I will soon be doing a full exhaust. I have read alot of past topics about what people like and see AOLT of different things. What I am wanting to know is what is the best set-up for the price? From headers to muffler. As im sure you know I have the dual cat setup right now. I have a auto if that makes any difference. I know this is a stupid question but what does the Y-Pipe do??? I see that some systems come with it and others dont. I hear alot of people saying they had to make there own. I just assume not have to do that.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Jesse

The y-pipe brings the exhaust from the collectors of the two headers or manifolds and brings the exhaust flow into one pipe where it goes to the cat and then muffler etc..

I will be doing real dual exhaust so I dont know about the best plan for you.

id go with edelbrock headers(they come with the a new y-pipe) and a flowmaster cat-back exhaust. youll pick up the headers for about 320 and exhaust kit for another 300 or so. It may look bad to your wallet but it will sound the best.
