Dual exhaust?

I would like to run dual exhaust on my 91 t/a. Is it possible to do this and still have enough ground clearence for a daily driver? Anyone who has done this please give me some info. Is it worth the money? What kind of ground clearence will i be looking at? What is the configuration?

I've thought about doing this myself many times. I even went to an exhaust shop and asked the guy about it. The problem was that the guy only wanted to run 2" pipes, I wanted 3" and the ground clearance would be very low. Most shops will want to run the pipes straight under the car, this will make ur ground clearance about 2-3" less. I've looked under the car and I think that two pipes could be run side by side in the same curve as the factory pipe and give you the same ground clearance as stock but finding someone to bend the pipes might be a problem. I've found that it's better, and easier to just get a good catback and a big intermediate pipe. If you want more flow you can always put on an exhaust cut-out. Hope this helps.

I used flex-pipe on my '84. It came with the car. Works pretty well, but not as good-looking as solid pipe. Easier to run, though.
