Hooker LT Plug Clearance Solution
Sorry for the delay, just got the pics developed & scanned. This method will work from any plug that has a screw off wire connector. The heads that require this method are AFR 195 straight plug, where there are no shorty plugs made.
I used an agle grinder with a diamond edged tile cutting blade to score the porcelin.
Like so.
Tap end carefully with a hammer to break apart end, so it looks the Accel plug (3rd from the left). Cut metal rod off, just under spacer & grind even with the center electrode rod. I then used a 4mm die to thread the rod & screw the wire connector back on.
