u can't compare the 2 but even then the 80 series sucks, i know I'm most likely to get Sh*t for this but flowmaster is a good muffler, but unless u have a BB or something that needs the back pressure they don't flow good and they sound all right but nothing loud. a friend of mine has the American thunder cat-back on his 98 mustang GT and it does sound good unclose but i couldn't hear him driving past my house when I was in the driveway, and he WAS giving it gas. and being an owner of a flowmaster i feel i have a right to say it's like an ******* everyone has.

i bet I'll also get sh*t for comparing to a mustang, lol

why would he?

I mean backpressure needed?
oh come on we all know backpressure gives hp and torque even though your motor has to work through the pressure and a resisting pressure means you get less power through

but oh well

Try one of the new Pro'lite race mufflers. They are titanium ceramic coated T-304 SS. and weigh just 3.25LB They come in all popular sizes and look and sound great. I have two of the six inch mufflers on my camaro and they sound and look great. check out their web site!

It's not exactly a catback system... I had the whole exhaust system was done from the y-pipe back with 3 inch exhaust. All custom, can't be bought. The muffler is the Pro Shootout race muffler, 3 inch in and out through the center. The muffler shop here in town stocks Spintechs and I was the first customer to get them put on. They had just got them in and asked if I wanted to try one out lol said sure. Since then a bunch of people have been running Spintechs, all happy with them I really need to get the video camera out again grrr I'll try and make plans for the weekend.

Random Technology... As for the car needing backpressure, if the flowmaster causes more backpressure than the Random Tech and backpressure is so good, why did I lose 7 RWHP with the Flowmaster vs. Random Tech. to backpressure being needed.
