Non AIR manifold swap??
Are there any cars with a non air manifold that will fit a 91 305 TBI? I know headers are better, but I can't afford it right now.

I don't really have the 225 plus shipping, right now. Just wanting to yank AIR, and move to headers later.
I have also heard bad things about those headers and thier gaskets.

Pulling the AIR isn't going to give you any real results. Just save up and get headers.

Just take your air manifolds off and remove the tubes or something.Other than that, it'd be a waste of friggin time to find a non-smog set and swap

On closer inspection of the air tubes, I noticed they screwed into the manifold. What sizes bolts would plug these holes? That would be cheap and uncluter my engine compartment.
