i'm thinking of putting on a new exhaust system on my car, currently it has the stock exhaust, and is an 84 z-28. i was interested in getting a borla system for it, but i was also wanting to get true duel on it, what all do i have to look out for and how hard is it to get true duel from borla on the Z?

 

Borla does not make a dual exhaust system for the 3rd gens. At least not that I know of. If you're wanting to go true dual, do a search and you'll find lots of info on it. Going duals is hard since you have to keep the cats and you'll run into ground clearance issues. You can always run duals down the stock path like Willie did but that's high $$$. If you don't have to keep the cats on there is a company that will fabricate a dual system for you car but then again there is the whole ground clearance issue again. I can't remember the website but a few people have the system on the boards.
