Need Info on Headers
Alright guys, I've done a search already and cannot seem to get a real idea of what I need. I have a stock 305 TPI in my 87' Trans Am. I just recently installed a Flowmaster series 80 muffler and new 2 1/2 inch pipes. I know nothing about installing headers and will most likely have a mechanic do it, but I need to know what are the easiest fitting headers on the market...i.e. little or no tampering with AC, etc...and try to do no grinding on parts. Basically I haven't got a clue about this stuff
and would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide me with some straight info. Also whats the deal with coated and uncoated, besides about 300 bucks...does it really make a difference? I'm looking to spend no more then 250 to 300 bucks, maybe can splurge for more. Please advise...i'm new to this forum and all of you:hail: experienced:hail: folks out there have a wealth of info and wisdom, so any and all help is appreciated...Thanks ahead!
