I took my Firebird down to Car-X on Saturday and told them that it needed two exhaust sleeves. The guy behind the counter said that they could have the car done by Monday and give me a call when it is.

I wait till today, no phone call. I call down there and they tell me that they won't do it, and that if I want the exhaust to be fixed right, I would have to buy a new exhaust system. When I asked the price I was given the quote of around $300-350!

I don't have that kind of money, so I told them I want the sleves put on the exhaust, pay them, and get me car back. He still refused. I never did get an explanation as to why they refused to do this for me.

I went down there about an hour ago to pick up my car and the guy got really huffy with me and basically said thanks for waisting their time.

Now here's my question (if this story makes sense to anyone) Why would they refuse what I asked them, especially when it's a service they provide? It sounds to me like they want drain my wallet and that I don't know any better considering I'm only 18yo.

Needless to say I'm not very happy, my Firebird still sounds loud like 10 Harleys revving up at the same time.
