I had some problems but I did a search and found somethings out that help me. i had to jackup the passenger side of the motor up alittle, since I had problems mating up the flanges because of the oil pan one of the members on the web used exhaust dounuts and the that worked out perfect.
i just installed mine yesterday...
whatever you think... you HAVE to undo the drivers side motor mount and lift the motor... trust me on this... i was like... well i dont have smog or AC or anything, so ill be able to get it in there... there was 15 minutes wasted
the passenger side you can get in without jacking up the motor, so just get under there and take out the outer starter bolt and loosen the inner one where the starter will pivot... the collector flange wont go through there very easy for some reason, so just pivot the starter around till you get the collector slipped down there...
try and get them sanded and painted with a couple coats of high heat paint, i didnt do that and after about 20 miles the headers were white and the paint just smoked right off em
i didnt get the hedman ypipe, i had one custom made that was better for about 75$... so i dont know about installing the ypipe

If your motor mounts are in good shape you shouldn't have to jack the motor. My pass. side went in with the starter out. My drivers side went in after moving the steering column over temporarily. Valve covers were off both sides as well as accessories and brackets. A great time to clean and freshen up the motor
