I have used vht 1500 degree paint in the oven, I just bake at 300 for 10 minutes or so. if you're going through all that I think they sell ceramic coating at pep boys

Spray bombs 'with ceramic' is not the same as a ceramic coating.

ceramic coatings at home.. this may be of some interest... https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=212709

I've done it with mine.. it was just a spray bomb of black header paint (1300* i think)

Anyway, just follow the instructions on the back of the can, and you'll be fine.

Might wanna leave a nearby window open too, lol.

Yeah, not a good idea to use the kitchen oven. It's best to find one at a junkyard or something and use that. Those coatings give off some pretty toxic gases.

There's also stuff called Black Satin that doesn't require oven curing, but I can't remember who sells it.
