after much searching i need help with catco cat

I searched this forum but i need your help guys. I've decided to get the hooker 2055's and a hooker catback. Now my confusion comes in regarding the cat. I want to get a catco cat that is 3" in and out but I'm not sure. The only 3" one i see with AIR tubes is 16.5" long and that seems quite long. I'm going to be installing this myself and that seems very long. Will everything fit ok???

its part CTO-2607 at www.summitracing.com

You need to buy a direct fit Catco Cat for your model year and engine. They are available at Summit and are more expensive then the unversal fit one. p/n cto-9118 is the 3' in & out with air I used on my 87 with 350 and Slp headers.
