Hedman shortie header Y-pipe question
Ok I have the hedman shortie hedders (which ISent off to get coated) and I was lookin at em, and am trying to figure out the y-pipe situation on them. We are going to make one (my dad is a welder and we have all the tools) but how long are the other pipes gonna have to b to make that y-pipe? it looks like its gonna be REALLY long.....if you have any idea let me know, i'll keep lookin!
thanks! (its 3 inch all the way back)

Why not spend the $100 to get the one Hedman makes, get it coated, and install it?
If you can't resist getting the welder out, replace the pipe that goes from the two to one with a real 3", then get it coated.

I think it is a 3 inch pipe off the hedder, though im not sure, so I'll check that out first. I can't spend the extra 100 bucks for the pipe, cause my budget doesn't allow for that, just for the coating, which is only 150 bucks. (local company) thanks for the info.
