H-pipe location
When putting true duals on a third gen with an H-pipe, is there any advantage as to where the H-pipe is located?

To find out where to place the h-pipe you're supposed to paint the exhaust pipes, and then run the car. The paint will burn off where the H-pipe needs to go. However where it needs to go and where it can fit are two different things...

If you're running a 'traditional' type dual, just behind the trans x-member the most ideal placement to keep it at the same level with the rest of the piping.
