jc whitney and pace setter exhaust flex
okay i want to use some sort of flex joint. ive only seen them offered from jc whitney -
http://jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stor...X&appId=391415
and then also from pacesetterexhaust.com -
http://pacesetterexhaust.com/perf_exhaust.htm
i cant find the exact price for the pace setter ones on their pricing page because i need one of the universal ones but i see prices for specific applications and they are quite expensive.... but the one from jc whitney is only 60 bucks and i thought it might be worth a try ...i guess what im wondering if is if anybody has used either of these and what they thought......do they leak? rust fast? etc.....
thanks

What are you trying to use it for? I believe those are intended for FWD exhaust systems.
I do have a short piece of stainless flexpipe on each side of the '57, but not the type you linked.

i plan on using in an area where my catalytic converter would otherwise be because of the stiffness i have now with a "offroad straight pipe"--with this i hope to take the twisting out of my y pipe.
thanks
