how do i modify my y-pipe?

how do i modify my y-pipe?

i want to modify it so it bolts to my hooker headers. my car was originally a v6, but now a v8. do i weld extra tubing to the y -pipe?

Trash that V6 y-pipe in its entirety.

Let me modify that: Trash that V6 exhaust in its entirety. You need something bigger than that to handle a V8.

Correct. Your v6 exhaust is pure garbage and your new motor will be choked and run like poo. Spend the extra doe on a custom y-pipe and spend a littlre more on a cat-back.
