Last year I started my car in a parking lot and the guy next to me alarm went off. Ha ha! :hail:

And they want to ban just about every yard tool lawn mowers and leaf bloweers casue they are to loud too. omg this guy is nuts!!! The 60's and early 70's musta been hell for this guy .

 

try picking up your friend from collage, i shut off the Camaro after i drove thorw the parking lot up to the main doors and i swear 15 car alarms where going off, i couldn't tell if it was my folwmaster muffler or this it was mostlikey the flowmaster Right???

These aftermarket "hot rod" exhaust systems you complain about, produces jobs, and helps our economy. Just because maybe you drive a POS 1990 civic, does not mean that you need to discriminate against the sound of a hot rod.
So if the world was to eradicate the sound of hot rods, what would be next on your list of complaints? I have it, how about the birds chirping, or a dog barking. Come to think about it, my phone pisses me off everytime it rings. Dang, maybe we should shoot the phone, oh wait nevermind, a gun is noise pollution too.
What I am getting at, is that I know many people that do not mind the sound of a nice v8 with a performance exhaust. Go cry to you mom some more you little pantywaist.

As for the american flag thing. That has to be the most dumb excuss to B**** that I have ever seen. Do u really think people buy that exhaust system to say that their car sounds like america? Or that my car is patriotic now because I have a loud exhaust named american thunder. Really makes me wanna through a America flag paint job across my car now that I bought and american thunder exhaust.

I remember my senior year, drivin through the parkin lot w/ my loud exhaust. I would always set off alarms. I loved those days.

How about writing to him and saying something like...

I have an American made muscle car. In my opinion, it represents the power and freedom of this nation, as well as the hard, dedicated work that went into it. It's unfortunate that a select few people have chosen to abuse this right by not taking other peoples' thoughts into consideration, and instead choosing to become annoying with their display of their exhaust system.

Believe me, 90% of the Hot Rodders who actually enjoy this great American past-time do not participate in such thoughtless actions. Flowmaster (and any aftermarket exhaust) is part of American motor pasttime and I personally love the sound of a flowmaster driving by. What makes it noise? It's noise to you and enjoyable to me!
