Here is to you mr huber, one nice 4k rev.

I think he's just too self centered... what kinda guy really thinks a whole industry needs to be shut down because he gets annoyed for 2 seconds when people drive by his house? Huber, you have 2 options:
1 - Move into your basement and stay there were you can't hear anything outside the room.
2 - Get a life. Seriously.

Dayyum, that guy is a *****. I am by no means a fan of Flowmaster, but to say it is causing the "descration of the American flag" and almost blatantly saying everyone who buys a flowmaster is dumb by "succumbing to this low-class advertising" is asking for an A$$ beating. I think he is jealous cuz he doesn't have the ***** to get a loud fast car, what do you guys think??
You guys with Flowmasters, keep on promoting the "downfall of America" through your tailpipes.
If anyone sees this guy, drive by with a 40 series at like 6 grand and see if he likes that...

I wrote the noise free america or wherever he is from and gave him a piece of my mind. Here it is.
These aftermarket "hot rod" exhaust systems you complain about, produces jobs, and helps our economy. Just because maybe you drive a POS 1990 civic, does not mean that you need to discriminate against the sound of a hot rod.
So if the world was to eradicate the sound of hot rods, what would be next on your list of complaints? I have it, how about the birds chirping, or a dog barking. Come to think about it, my phone pisses me off everytime it rings. Dang, maybe we should shoot the phone, oh wait nevermind, a gun is noise pollution too.
What I am getting at, is that I know many people that do not mind the sound of a nice v8 with a performance exhaust. Go cry to you mom some more you little pantywaist.

Ted Rueter, director of Noise Free America, observed that "these illegal hot rod exhausts increase noise levels, which produces chaos and confusion. In this atmosphere, accidents increase, property values decline, and criminality flourishes. Flowmaster's noise machines harm the quality of American life."
This guy has obviously totally lost it. I sent him an E-Mail. Yeah lets set up a new law enforcement agency that reaches all across the USA, specifically put together to bust people with these loud rumble, high blood pressure causing, exhaust systems. We are all doomed.
Ahh, this really aggrivates me to no end. I'm a criminal now I guess.
I'm going to E-Mail them a clip of my evil exhaust.
You guys need to read some other E-Mails people send, esp. this one.LOL http://www.noisefree.org./ilikenoise/January/jan10.html

He's just another tree hugger that has to find something to wine about to get attention. Seriously loud exhaust is everywhere, stock SS camaros are loud when they get on it. What about a ferrari or viper running down his road. They're exhaust is loud right off the assembly line.
As for the american flag thing. That has to be the most dumb excuss to B**** that I have ever seen. Do u really think people buy that exhaust system to say that their car sounds like america? Or that my car is patriotic now because I have a loud exhaust named american thunder. Really makes me wanna through a America flag paint job across my car now that I bought and american thunder exhaust.
I remember my senior year, drivin through the parkin lot w/ my loud exhaust. I would always set off alarms. I loved those days.

Somebody took the time to make these fairy tale rules. Stupid people like this should be against the law. http://www.noisefree.org./legislation.html
What about the sirens on Ambulances, Fire Trucks, Police cars etc... I guess the officers that "would be" enforcing these laws would have to write themselves a ticket, and call a wrecker to impound the noisy cop car.
I guess I'll stop rambling now, but this nonsense should get a rise out of every tax paying, law abiding citizen.

Yea!!! You showed him. Call him a moron. That show's him that "Flowmaster fans who succumb to this low-class advertising seem to think they are displaying their patriotism when they rumble through neighborhoods disturbing the peace and ruining property values" is wrong.
How about writing to him and saying something like...
"I am writing to you in response to your article Flowmaster: Destroying America With Thunder, published on PRWeb, Nov 19th, 2002.
I have an American made muscle car. In my opinion, it represents the power and freedom of this nation, as well as the hard, dedicated work that went into it. It's unfortunate that a select few people have chosen to abuse this right by not taking other peoples' thoughts into consideration, and instead choosing to become annoying with their display of their exhaust system.
Believe me, 90% of the Hot Rodders who actually enjoy this great American past-time do not participate in such thoughtless actions. I agree that it can become irritating when you're trying to sit and watch television, and the neighbor kid is sitting in his car revving the engine repeatedly in front of your house. Something like that annoys me as well.
But to generalize all people that have a high performance exhaust system as people who "desecrate the American flag and disrespect the people for whom it stands" is absurd. You couldn't be further from the truth. They are simply practicing their freedom in this great country of ours. A freedom that gives them the right to modify and restore the great American automobile they so passionately love, then actively participate in events that allow them to meet others that share that same passion.
If you do not enjoy this hobby as much as I, or millions of other Americans do, that's fine. Just please remember, because you do not enjoy the same type of entertainment does not automatically make it wrong for others to. As a matter of fact, you would not be able to voice your opinion if it wasn't for this great country that WE ALL live in. That's what this country is all about; Freedom of Speech. I am simply speaking with my car instead of my voice. It's no different than the loud, repetitive explosions of fireworks on July 4th.
Hopefully, that doesn’t bother you. If so, you need to seek psychological help.
Good day,
Adam Malmer"
BTW, I just sent that to him.

The bad thing about the "I like Noise" list is it makes most of them appear immature, so he sounds more intelligent.

i think it is a shame that people like this exist. i thought we live in amaerica where many have died to protect and matain our freedom. these people sound like the "9-11 new-found patriots". they wastes their time trying to push everyone into their realm of their "perfect" world-for them. i am really apauled that these people accuse flowmaster of using american to somehow "brainwash" people that it is the best because it represents america. blah, blah, blah. if these guys wanted to have a formal debate on tv for the whole country, i'll take them on. it is people like this that didn't give a **** about america and what it stood for until 9-11 and then it became the hip and popular thing to speak of your freedom and it's people like that who are cashing in on terrorism, using it's term to degrade things, and since it's cool to be american all of a sudden, it's people like that who started a vinyl company on 9-12 making all those flags you see in every *** damn store and gas station everywhere. i love being an american, i love its freedom to be who you want to be. and i choose to be proud of who we all are and not try to force everybody to be the same. so for anyone who might be involved with noisefree.org, i respect you quest for silence, but don't force your opinions on others or you might have to convince someone like me and trust me, it will not happen.

um, i went and read his home page, it's says no jake-brakes, that is not a good thing, you know? i can only imagine what the high-way would be like without jake-brakes on those 50,000lbs rigs when a car slams on his brakes in front of him....

Some people read too much into things. I see "American Thunder" in no way promoting patriotism. It gives me the image of musclecars, and that's it. If some company came out with Japanese Thunder (1 1/2" pipes, 5" outlet) I bet that makes them patriots to Japan, right? This guy needs to wake up...

Desecrate the American Flag????????????????????????? And who it stands for???????????
Oh this guy is a real treat, no doubt about it, but what an obvious piece of spin that is!
I, as an American soldier, would really like to know what this guy has to say about the sanctity of our flag and what it stands for.
What a jacka$$.

An elementary school teacher in Richmond, Virginia, said, "I resent the fact that adolescent boys of all ages regularly drive their rumble mobiles next to my school. While I'm trying to have 'quiet time,' they're having 'hot rod time.' Hot rod drivers are damaging the ability of my students to learn--as well as harming their hearing and raising their blood pressure."
Ah last i knew that only kids that learned anything were those that worked hands on, book smarts get you no-where.
if they dont ban smoking, there gonna try to ban booze, or guns, or peeps who enjoy building hot rods. and Being an american is driving American made muscle, and expressing it with pride.

" (28) All private vehicles: The State Noise Code shall apply to all registered and unregistered motor vehicles. Exemptions for police, fire, ambulance, and other official and unofficial emergency motor vehicles as well as other special cases shall be considered by the noise czar on a request basis.) "
Czar... last czar I remember got shot which is what we all would do if any of this legislation passed.
Flowmaster (and any aftermarket exhaust) is part of American motor pasttime and I personally love the sound of a flowmaster driving by. What makes it noise? It's noise to you and enjoyable to me!
