The tips are 4thgen Z28 tips from www.tacreationsusa.com .
You can now find one muffler on my camaro and the other on my air compressor

Vette's have mufflers in the same place but, I don't think you'll find any muffler that fits the 3rdgen area there perfectly which is why I ended up making mine (plus it's very affordable to do).
I originally wanted pacesetter vette mufflers untill I called pacesetter for dimensions only to find they were way to large to fit in the rear (and at $200/pr... I wouldn't have gotten them anyways).

Dynomox ultraflow stainless steel cans look pretty much the same as those, not quite as smooth though, but they should fit with what you need. Be prepared for the sticker shock though, last time I checked, they were about $130 a piece.
edit: I'm not sure if you can get the cans that small, but Magnaflow Magnapacks and Dynomax Race Bullets can both be had in 4" round.

Nate, I don't know of any sites that would show you how to make a muffler. I do have a few pictures on my site of the new muffler I made.
As far as tips go... fabrication & welding skills are important to making a muffler
rich... I'm not sure of the overall length of the DMax but, I think they were to long to fit the way I ran my pipes. My mufflers were only about 14" in (case) length. CheezX (I hope I'm remembering the right name
) has a pair (DMax) on his car but, his pipes run under the rear axle.
