hedman LT install...

trying to finish up my motor swap, and I'm installinf hedman LT's with 1 3/4 primaries, ceramic coated.... my driver's side is in. my pass side is hitting on something, and i can't tell if it's the transmission ear or the A-arm. anyone know? what do i do to fix it? also, do i need a mini-starter?

Probably the A-arm mount, most people have had to grind it down slightly to fit.

By the way, the Hedman LT's are 1 5/8", not 1 3/4"

I hate it when i get let down. ( i measured 'em... last time i trust anybody sellin stuff.) either way, they're not fitting. now, when you say grind down the a-arm, what do you mean? what part? how much? anybody have a pic of this I can see? I don't want to grind down too much, or grind down the wrong part. any help would be great.

thanks. that helps a good bit more, but I have an 82, so i was looking for people who had carb setups, and anything they did to make it go easier. I think I may be able to get away with cutting the A-arm and it'll work. the header is in, so I guess I'll just have to pull out the mount bolt, lift the motor to the side a bit, and pull it back out..... we'll see. thanks for the help guys, and keep it coming.
