B Carefull When Ordering 3rd Gen Hedman Shortyz

HEY WHAT WAS THE $ FROM JEGS?? MAYBE WE CAN MATCH OR BEAT IT, ALSO ASK IF THEY ARE A MATCHING HDRS AND Y OF THE NEW STYLE (STARTED 3 WEEKS AGO) BY HEDMAN. WE HAVE A FEW PROBLEMS AS THEY ARE MAKING A BALL STYLE FLANGE ON THE 68470 AND NOT MANUFACTURING A Y-PIPE TO MATCH AS OF YET. WE ARE NOT TRYING TO GET THE SALE BUT WE ARE TRYING TO INFORM U THAT HEDMAN IS IN COMPLETE DISSARRAY RIGHT NOW ON ALL THE HEADERS THEY PRODUCE. BE CAREFULL AS MOST DISTRIBUTORS ARE "MAKING" THE SALE AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE CURRENT PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW STYLE HEADER AND THE FACT THAT THEY WILL NOT FIT THE Y-PIPE THAT THEY CURRENTLY MANUFACTURE. WE HERE @ ACS ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WITH THIS DILLEMMA SO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION WHEN ORDERING OR YOU WILL HAVE THE INCORRECTLY MATCHING SYSTEM ALREADY PAID 4 AND HAVE TO WAIT 4-6 WEEKS OR MORE, (DEALING WITH HEADMAN AS A CONSUMER IS LIKE TRYING TO TALK TO THE ENGINEER @ GM) FOR THE CORRECTLY MATCHING PART FOR YOU INSTALLATION!!! wE ARE A 3RD GEN SPECIFIC CO. AND WE CAN'T RENDER THIS PROBFOR A LITTLE WHILE, SO BE VERY CAREFUL OF ANYONE ELSE TRYING TO SELL YOU THIS PRODUCT AND DOUBLE CHECK THIS PROBLEM BEFORE ORDERING!!!
THANKS, HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

Hmm, easy on the caps There does seem to be problems with Hedman at the moment. Raiden and I both ordered 68491s from different sources, and the kit was not complete. The O2 bung on my 68491 was put on in the wrong direction. However, Hedman and Jet-Hot were fairly good at trying to resolve them. Jet-Hot said I would have to return the headers to them to get that resolved and Hedman said they would send me their HTC coated header for the driver's side. So, now I have one in Jet-Hot coating and one in HTC....that's nice since they are different shades.

Ball style flanges on the Hedman collectors? Yea! Do they really seal much better than flat collectors? I have never, ever, never ever had a problem with gaskets on the flange to the head, but I can never keep a collector from leaking (a least not for a prolonged period of time). Sounds like a good idea when they get thier shiznit straight and start making the y-pipe to match them.
