Hooker installation problem

For those of you guys that have installed 2055s on your 305 tpi...did you need any type of spacer or anything like that? the guys at the shop that are putting them in have had the car for 4 days. i dont want to call them because id probably flip out about them taking so damn long...but my dad has talked to them and said something about a spacer. also they are claiming there are 2 brackets that need modification, when on the instructions it only says one. what gives?

Your accessories are the same as mine, so I'll venture a response.

The AC bracket needs to have one leg cut off and a spacer to go behind the remaining leg (to simulate the thickness of the factory intake manifold, which shares a bolt with the bracket). The headers come with the spacer.

The dipstick is the only other thing I can think of requiring any sort of modification. It had a tab that used another manifold bolt, it has to be changed one way or another.
