flowmaster american thunder VS force 2

flowmaster american thunder VS force 2

anyone heard both of these systems..whats the difference

american thunder is louder than the force, but the force still supposedly flows about the same
i havent actually heard the force, but my american thunder is nice and loud

they make the two different in sound and such to give you better options to what you would prefer more. If you like the loud sound with the resonance a bit, then that's your best bet. But if not, then the delta flow mufflers will provide still great flow, but less noise inside, thus a quieter muffler.

it is just a bit more mild sounding because of the extra chamber. takes some of the raspy sound out of the exhaust. If you are fan of just loud get the 40 series catback. if you like a chambered sound but don't want it to be as lound the 50 series is a good comprimise. I have had both. if you have not cat(s) then the 50 series will still drone a bit. not bad with the cat(s) in place.

main difference is the american thunder has dual tips and the force 2 has just 1.

they used to make a 50 series catback with dual tips. I had it on my 88 IROC. don't know if they still do.
