Exhaust shop prices.
I am planning on getting the hedman 68470 headers, a high flow cat, and a flowmaster 80 series. If i put the headers on, then take the other parts to an exhaust shop, how much can i expect to pay them to plumb it all up. they will have to make a y pipe to go into the single cat since i have duals now.
edit: would it be cheaper to have the exhaust shop fab a y-pipe, or to get the hedman y-pipe.

It would probably be both cheaper and better to get the Hedman y-pipe. Very few exhaust shops, and I'd venture to say that no muffler shops, have mandrel bending equipment.
Labor varies so much, it's hard to guess what a shop in your area would charge. If you talked to 5 different shops, you'd probably get 5 very different estimates. The lowest one is probably not the one to go with.

You really need to ask around in your area and remember that if you are pushing the limits of what they can do legally it is best to talk to them face to face.

what i'll do is get the headers & y-pipe. does anyone know what size pipe the y-pipe has? what size converter do i need? if i can attach the converter to the y-pipe directly, then all i need the shop to make is the i-pipe.
