i say to go to the local auto parts store and get some smaller tips. leave 4" to the ricers or people making LOTS of power

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! I dont care if its on a LG4 or not. Any 3" exhaust with the setup you described will sound much better than stock anyday. It also will add a little hp. You got a good deal on that setup. Congrats. ENJOY!!

PS: This guy was simply sharing about his new exhaust system. He didnt need to be cut down by anyones stupid comments about how it wont be loud cuz he has an LG4. If you cant give a reply that benefits the poster then dont be a post ***** and waste space just to add to your post total. :lala:

That wasn't your original argument. He said something to the effect of "it's gonna be loud" and you replied "Not with an LG4."

As for what you would rather have, it's not your car now is it? That's what I thought.

Besides, LG4s have potential. Maybe not as much as a 350 but it still has power potential nonetheless.

right on....there are several guys on here who have some kick azz 305's. I prefer not to have an LG4 but that is why I changed out to a 400 small block and a high performance 700R4. Its all a matter of what you can afford and what you want to do with the car (race or daily driver). I think a lot of people here dont have the funds to do lots of upgrades but they like their cars. Thats what counts. Do what you can within the budget you have and enjoy!!
