SLP y-pipe

I recently installed the SLP 1 3/4" headers and i have an exhaust leak on the passenger side collector. It is like the y-pipe is not bent to the correct angle to meet with the header straight. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? SLP insists they just need to be 'adjusted', BS there is no way to adjust the passenger side of the y-pipe without moving the cat too. I've done headers before, i know how it is done, SLP just won't own up to it.
thanks
John

if you can get the bolts in they usually relax some after a few heat cycles. Mine didn't fit too good either at first. I highly recommend you get a walker catalog and get the solid steel donuts instead of the ****ty lead ones. The steel ones last indefinately, and aren't destroyed by small leaks. Also they retain bolt torque much better as they do not erode away

those solid donuts help the pipes pull together a little better than the lead too

have you addded new poly motor mounts? those rasie the engine a little and this may cause the rest of the exhaust to be off a little bit. My SLP setup fit good.....I think. I will check it this weekend. I just re installed it all for the 4th time and it seemed to go in pretty good. I used the SLP dougnuts which I really did not want to use. Anyone have the part number of hand for those walker ones.
