I've got a Super 40 on my 84 L69. I can't say enough good
things about it. More low, mid. AND upper end. Sounds
great as well. I'm using single 3 in from front to rear with
a 18 in chrome tip exiting on the drivers side.

It's all about harmonics if you want sound The new
Super 40 is vastly improved over the old 40 series.

You won't regret it !

I've got a true dual with 2 super 40's. To make them fit I had to smash in the storage compartment a little bit, but you can't tell unless your under the car.

edit: I was also able to get the super 40's for $67 a piece from Summit because I gave them a website that was selling them for $68.

hey blue_tacos, do you by chance have a picture of your exhaust? I'm going to run dual super 40's also and wanted to get some ideas on the routing and where to put the mufflers.

I can't get my car on my neighbors lift until next week sometime. As soon as I do I'll take some pics. I can go take a pic now from behind the car. To get the mufflers to fit I had to hit in the storage compartment a few inches on each side plus because of the spare tire compartment they aren't perfectly centered but its better then single
