stepped headers

stepped headers

does anyone make stepped headers for a SBC for our cars?

what are the advantages of stepped or disadvantages for that matter

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt/3.73
Hedman and Stahl both make them with the Hedmans probably being cheaper/easier to install. Just go to the website www.hedman.com and click on stepped headers. They are only a 1 1/2" to 1 5/8" step though, so the tubes are rather small for any sort of performance application if you ask me.
