will the edlelbrock tes headers for an f-body fit the aluminum vette heads out of a 88 corvette??????? getting good deal on the vette heads and i purchased the headers a while ago. so im just trying to see if they would fit fine with the heads??

yes. I have Edelbrock TES #6874 (83-85 305 HO) in my Camaro with 89 Vette aluminum heads.

 

hey thanx now will i be able to use the exhaust manifold gaskets with the headers fine or do i need to get header gaskets????? im going to be getting a head gasket set and manifold gaskets come with the set..so will i be able to get away with those for a little bit?

Every production SBC head has the same exhaust port/bolt pattern. Yes it will work.

 

they all have the same bolt pattern, but the Vette heads have angled plugs and raised exhaust ports which could potentially cause issues with header fitment.

88GTAbandit - you should be able use the exhaust gaskets that you have. I've used both production Vette exhaust manifold gaskets and Mr. Gasket #150B header gaskets with equal success.
