82 versus 83 cat outlet size?

82 versus 83 cat outlet size?
The 1982 V8s had a Pellet type (flat) catalytic converter and the 1983 LG4 V8s had a Honeycomb (rounded) one. The L69s had a wide mouth Honeycomb one. Can someone tell me whether the outlet of the Pellet type (1982) and the 1983 LG4 Honeycomb ones were the same? The 1983 LG4 honeycomb is 2.5 I think.

The L69 used the same cat as the Corvette did (monolithic). The outlet on mine is just a little under 2.75", and I do have the Corvette cat.
