Cool Y-Pipe! Dual system won't hookup or is this personal preference?

I love my LM. Nice rumble at idle.....man it comes to life in the higher RPM's though. You won't be disapointed

I have a quick Question what happened to the resonator? I don’t see it in your pic. Also what did it take to adapt it? I am purchasing this exhaust system Friday and installing it next Friday. Also I still need help deciding on the Dual/Dual tips or the Dual/Single tips what made you chose the Dual/Single?

well i originally had a SLP two out the left exhaust for a thirdgen it has a 3" stainless intermediate pipe. well i sold the back half of the two out the left system but kept the intermediate pipe so i could use it to adapt the loudmouth back half to the thirdgen Y pipe. its probably hte best way to adapt the loudmouth to the thirdgen Y. so pretty much the whole cat back looks like it came this way from SLP.

the resonator that SLP puts in the 4th gen intermediate pipe is just a hollow 4" tube, i think it does more bad then good. im going to try mine straight just like u see maybe itll sound better. if i need to quiet it down or whatever i will buy a 6" round dynomax ultra flow muffler.

my friend has a loudmouth on his 87 305TPI 5 speed car with a dynomax bullet in place of the resonator. it sounds really good. i love it, people actually go out of their way to compliment his exhaust which is rare for us thirdgen owners lol.

I had the exhaust shop fab up a 3" stainless pipe off the cat to connect. Didn't take them long at all to do it. They had everything done in about an hour. I'd go with the single tips. I have the dual/dual and they are cut at an angle to match the curve of the 4thgen rear bumpers, as so my tips look a bit off. In the spring I'll change them.
