I was wondering if anyone here uses these mufflers, I was told they were decent by a friend of mine but he doesn't have them on his car. So i was wondering if anyone here has them. If so how do you like them?? Also post sound clips if you have them.

Don't have sound clips. Sorry.
I had them (note the past tense) in a duals set-up with tailpipes, about 30" behind the collectors of long tube headers. At idle, they were a little loud but tolerable. Under any kind of power, they crackled something fierce and practically sounded like open exhaust. I was afraid to drive on the street for fear of getting ticketed.
They're racing mufflers, and shouldn't be considered for any other use unless you have something else behind them. For instance, having one where the cat used to be may help mellow out an otherwise loud aftermarket cat-back w/no cat.

your going to get mixed opinions. I am currently running x-pipe with dual bullet mufflers. I love the sound of mine and I get compliments all the time. My car is not any louder then some of the loudmouth exhausts I 've heard.

I've only heard them at the dragstrip and have one buddy running them on his 351 clevland and I think open headers area actually quiter than these bullet mufflers?? Idle was loud and WOT is ridiculos, you would definately get wanted/unwanted attention if used on the street!!!

I just ordered a set for my dual setup I am planning but I will be running cats i will post a sound clip once I get everything installed.
i'm gonna try and get 2 of these on my exhaust this winter...maybe i'll tuck a dual 3inch exhaust in the factory location...we'll see how ambitious I am....I need something to flow good when I get my S/C....there is no such thing as too loud, just stick your tailpipes out the back, and let everybody else listen to them....when you see a cop, just let go of the pedal..

i currently have two sitting in my room waiting for my dual set up i am going to be running my stock 305 with some bolt on performance stuff and dynomax black jack headers then the bullets then exit infront of the rear wheels

People complain of exhaust being TOO loud when they exit it other than the rear of the car...when you dump the exhaust right infront of the your rear axle, it resonates off the car, and causes the whole car to rattle....thats why you make an extremely loud exhaust, and send it straight out the back, then its not your problem, its then a problem for the guy right behind you

I have a Ford F-150 4x4 with a big block, putting out close to 600 HP and over 700 Lb/ft of TQ, all below 6500 RPM. The truck is a race only vehicle, running mud drags throughout the state. We have to run mufflers in our class, but honestly, the Bullets take the open header sound and moves it to the back. And this is only 2 1/2" pipe. Standing 150 ft. away at a 1000 rpm idle, the exhaust is so deep it actually hurts your ears. At 6500, it's louder and considerably higher pitched than almost every open header truck at the track.
i got a quesiton about these mufflers....if i have a single 3.5 inch exhaust all the way back, would it be louder to have a single 3.5 inch bullet muffler, or dual 2.5 or 3 bullets at the end where it switches to duals??

The single 3.5" would be louder, IF th muffler is located closer to the motor. Dual 2.5 or 3" right at the back would be quieter, but still give a better tone than any chambered muffler.
yea i was thinking of putting the single 3.5 in the factory cat location....or should I modify my cat shell, put it back over the pipe in the stock location, then put the mufflers out back, so when the cops look under there they can see mufflers and a cat?....i think its gonna be loud either way, but will the single 3.5 in the cat location give me a deeper sound than with the dual bullets out the back??

Who's problem is it if the guy right behind you happens to be Smokey or a County Mountie?
...i'm pretty good at avoiding cops, I got a weird sense, and I can pick out cops like none other, my friends always ask how I do it...i'm always on the lookout for them for some reason...its like a disease, but saves my *** in alot of cases......i went all last summer with never having a cop on my tail!!, i went with pretty much open heads all summer, cuz i was too lazy to fix the huge holes in my headers...never got busted or pulled over once...
