It is a true dual exhaust kit but it is 2 1/4" non mandrel bent. I looked into it, not worth it imo.

I've come up with appropriate words to describe that system in the past, but the BB changes them all to ***** when I click {Submit Reply}...

I am putting that system on monday, thank you very much. Its not as good as, lets say, a nicely mandrel bent 2.5" dual setup, but it'll do for me (along with my ceramic coated 2460s). Ima try it out, see how i like it. I know it is gonna be better than the exhaust i have right now, at least.

The thing is, when it comes to exhaust, i've seen people claim (on here) that any motor pushing any amount of power (over stock) will definately free up HP with huge exhaust. Then i have race veterans and multiple exhaust specialists in my area that flat out tell me that unless im looking to have a 450+ hp engine and im strickly looking to get a .01 or .05 shaved off of my track times, then i should be fine with a 2 1/4 dual exhaust (even tho it isnt mandrel bent) for my street car.

I dont really doubt either side of the arguement, i basically just chose the 2 1/4 because it was a cheaper solution and i am only pushing 300-320hp.. so i dont need huge exhaust, in any case. I may, this winter, be able to get my hands on a fully built 383 LT1 for a pretty good price... If that happens, say hello to dual 2.5" mandrel

Rabbitt

PS.. Not trying to start a flame war with anyone, I'm just adding what i've heard here and there

I have seen stock 350 goodwrench engines pick up going from a crappy exhaust to a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust.

I have seen engines making right at 450 horsepower go 2 tenths faster taking their dual 3" mandrel bent exhaust off the car.

You cannot justify a non-mandrel bent exhaust in any application that you cannot visually inspect before you purchase. The system could neck down to 1 1/2" in certain tight portions for all you know.
