355 with solid roller cam. Got the hooker super comps on there now. I plan on going with the mufflex y-pipe and I currently have the flowmaster american thunder cat-back.

So lemme get this straight, you have a 350 with that much duration and it idles below 1000RPM? And when you rev it to 1500RPM it actually clears up? Thats pretty interesting.

Yup, you heard it in the vid. It will be revving over 7k too.

When I watched that video, I thought to myself "that must be a small solid roller to idle at 750 rpm" lol. A friend of mine has a camshaft similar to that in a larger displacement engine with more compression, and it doesnt clear up until 2000-2500, and that is with locked out timing.

Yeah that vid was the first time it we fired it up, it wouldn't idle until we messed around with the mixture screws. I think its still running lean because it didn't want to rev over 2k without poppin and hesitating. There is still a massive amount of tuning to do. It idled real well though under 1k probably because I have good ignition and pretty good carb. I'll keep you guys posted on how it runs. My friend had to move it the other day and said the cam was much easier to hear. He was holding it at 1500 and it wasn't clearing. I think its hard to hear well because its inside and echoing. I'll post more vids later!!

BTW, how much compression does your friends motor have?
