Hey guys I searched like crazy but can't seem to find any pictures, I am going to run some Hedman longtubes on my t-5 car witgh some fabed duals and need to see a picture of how bad the longtubes interfer with the hydraulics... thanks

 

Well, when I got my Trans Am it had Hedman long tubes on it with the T-5. The headers interfered with the slave cylinder and also ran very close to the plastic non-insulated hydraulic line going up to the master cylinder. Here's a picture of what the people who installed the headers did to the slave cylinder mount on the bellhousing to make the headers fit. Also, once the exhaust warmed up it heated up the clutch hydraulic fluid enough that the clutch would no longer disengage and you had to shut off the engine to put the car in gear at stop lights. If it was me, I think I would look for another alternative, but maybe my issues were just due to the idiots who installed the headers before I bought the car. Hopefully others will have some input for you too!

ever find out anything? I got a 89 formula with the t5 and was thinking of running the hedmans. Will they fit?
