ceramic coating
I am looking for a set of headers and wanted to get them ceramic coated but my friend tells me that after a little while the ceramic will flake off. I always thought that they would last forever but if it's just going to flake off then I don't see the point of spending an extra $200 for it. Does anyone know if this is true and if so how long would it last on a daily driver? Thanks.

Yes and No.
Some people have had problems with ceramic and others havent.
Its 99% prep work weither the ceramic job lasts or not.
I havent had a set come back yet. Ive redone quite a few headers that have been done by JETHOT that has flakes off.
do your research and pick someone with a good warrenty.
